Visual attributes
Once data is bound with the visual, overall appearance of a visual can be changed in Visual Attributes pane. PBI VizEdit gives you a large number of options to change the appearance of visual.
These options are categorized into multiple sections and each section is further divided into multiple sub sections. These sections and sub-sections can change depending upon the current state of visual. For example,
- when you add an axis, a corresponding axis section is added into Visual attributes.
- when a series is added, corresponding plot section is added.
Some sub sections can be switched off and on. When they are switched off, their properties are not applied to the chart. It should be noted that when you turn off a sub section and then turn that back on, some properties of the sub section may change.
